The Weather Seattle is definitely known for its rain, but it’s the rain that keeps the Northwest so lush and beautiful. Since you will be visiting towards the end of the winter, make sure you pack a jacket. The average temperature in March is 53° F. It rarely drops below freezing near the sea level areas of Seattle, but our weather can be a little unpredictable. You may want to pack an umbrella however.
